South Africa's largest bank expects 30% jump in productivity with new workflow system in Home Loans branches.
Nedcor of South Africa expects to see 30% productivity gain and better customer service in their Home Loans divisionafter a technology solution is implemented with Staffware’s partner, Dimension Data.
Nedcor, one of South Africa’s largest banking groups, and its customers are set to benefit from the implementation of a sophisticated workflow system in the company’s Home Loans division to improve the process whereby home loans are granted and registered. The project, worth around £1 million (R10 million), encompasses processes from initial home loans applications through to bond registration. Nedcor Home Loans expects it to help improve productivity by 30%, reduce processing costs and deliver a better service to its customers.
Staffware, a leader in business process automation, has implemented the workflow solution in partnership with Dimension Data, a strategic partner of Staffware in South Africa. Dimension Data, provided prime contractorship, project management and skills such as integration and middleware.
Staffware will manage the bank’s initial home loans application process, which can come from a variety of sources such as estate agents, a fax or even an e-mail, and drive it through credit authorization, risk assessment, property assessment, legal issues and the capture of bond information.
Home Loans branches will be Staffware enabled
By the end of November 2000, it is anticipated that three of Nedcor Home Loans’ branches will be Staffware enabled, with further countrywide deployment expected during the first half of next year.
